Impeller behaviour depends on blades number, surface and profile. Motor is generally oversized and motor power is not a parameter which indicates process performances. Laboratory experiences suitable for check impeller behaviour and to determine sizing parameters, are quite complicate. For this reason there is still not any standard universally accepted.
